Museum lighting 4:

visual adaptation

According to the museum lighting design specification, the brightness of the exhibits should be higher than the background brightness, and the brightness ratio should not exceed 3:1. Areas with too high brightness will become sources of glare, causing visual difficulties and affecting the viewing of details. For the area where special photosensitive exhibits are displayed, when the overall illumination is low, it is required to consider the visual adaptation. Visual transitions need to be provided when approaching these areas.
